MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR

As the Chair of this school. I would like to take a moment to reaffirm our vision and commitment to your children’s future. KUHS is a Lab School of Kathmandu University where we are trying to create an innovative learning space for students integrated with Nepali-styled international education for the holistic development of students.

At KUHS, we are continuously planning, improving, and striving to create the best possible environment for learning, one that nurtures curiosity, builds character, and fosters excellence. Every initiative we undertake is guided by our goal to ensure not only academic success but also the overall growth and well-being of each child.

We understand that your trust is invaluable. Therefore, we assure you that KUHS is dedicated to shaping your children into confident, responsible, capable and empathetic individuals. Our efforts are aimed at providing an educational experience that brings satisfaction and pride to you as parents.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the end of another academic year, we find ourselves reflecting on the journey we’ve embarked on together and the incredible growth and success we’ve achieved as a school community.

First and foremost, we want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout the year. Your commitment to your children’s education and your active involvement in our school have been instrumental in creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our students to thrive.

Together, we’ve witnessed countless achievements, both big and small, from academic milestones to personal triumphs. Whether it was attending the Parents Teachers meetings, meetings in the result days or your personal calls and feedback and suggestions, your dedication has not gone unnoticed.

On behalf of the entire school administration, we want to express our deepest appreciation for your continued support and partnership. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children and thank you for being such valued members of our school community.

We look forward the productive partnership between home and school in year ahead.

RESULT DAY

The final results (Class 1-7, 9) of the Academic Year 2082 will be on Saturday, 4 April 2026 (Chaitra 21, 2082) between 9 am to 12 noon. We kindly request the parents / guardians to come, collect the results and communicate with the teachers about the child’s performances. However, Class 8 and 10 parents need not come since they have other exam schedules of National Board Exams and Municipal Exams. Hostellers are requested to take all their belongings on the result day as we need to do a lot of repair and maintenance during the break. All the dues through Chaitra 2082 must be cleared in order to receive your child’s results. Children are also requested to return all library books.

WITHDRAWAL

It is my sincere hope that no student will feel the need to leave our school at the end of this session. Our doors are always open, and we are here to address any concerns or challenges that students may face. We believe in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential.

I request all parents and guardians to have open communication with us if there are any issues or uncertainties regarding their child’s education. Together, we can work towards finding solutions and ensuring that every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

However, if you are going to withdraw your child for some specific reasons, please inform us by Chaitra 21, 2082. If you have any queries, please let us know either by email (kuhs@ku.edu.np) or a phone call. You can even talk directly with the Principal (principal@kuhs.edu.np)

REGISTRATION

We are pleased to inform you that the school does not charge any annual fees once the student is admitted. However, we kindly request you to deposit the monthly fee for Baisakh as the confirmation that your child continuing the school.

As part of our commitment to providing quality education and maintaining high standard in academics, infrastructure and overall student development, we periodically review our fee structure. There will not be any fee revision for the upcoming academic session.

NEW ACADEMIC SESSION

The new academic session begins on Tuesday, Baisakh 8 2083 (21 April, 2026). We expect all the students to arrive at school with a complete set of their belongings. The hostellers have to arrive in their respective hostels on 7 Baisakh 2083 between 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There will be no bus services available for hostellers on 8 Baisakh, 2083.

UNIFORMS

All the hostel and day students must come with a complete set of uniforms. We would also like to request that you to stitch the registration number in uniforms permanently. If students fail to come with a complete set of uniforms, they will be not allowed to stay in hostel. Please do not send winter clothes right now. The uniforms are available at Sampurna Uniform, Banepa (011-661072), Sampurna Uniform Pvt. Ltd, Gathhaghar,(01-6630871) Sampurna Solution, Bishalbazzar (98514-14708).
